I haven't written in a while, and it's been busy these days. There's a lot going on in my world, but I don't have the energy right now to write all about that (maybe in the coming days I'll bust out another post), but here's a few pics to show what we've been up to in preschool.
Here we have Ellie practicing some lacing skills on our letter M craft, mittens!
Here's Gabby showing off our Valentine's placemats (with scriptures and hearts!)
Our letter N craft, a nest!
Using our heart cookie cutters on Valentine's Day.
Don't worry, we do lots of other things - reading books ("Falling Up" by Shel Silverstein is a popular choice these days), learning numbers (we are up to 18!), and learning all about habitats (or as Gabby sometime says, "appetites"). I enjoy my time with these girls and never have a dull morning when they are around! You wouldn't believe the drama 4 year old girls can have (unless you of course have them in your life, too). An example of what I'm talking about:
E: Whose house are you going to today?
Me: Gabby's
G: YAY!
E: Gabby, when you say that, it hurts my feelings.
G: When you say it hurts your feelings, it hurts my feelings.
NOT EVEN KIDDING! Thankfully, they have that beautiful, simplistic world of being a kid and after we talk it through and reassure everyone that the world isn't ending, they are BFF's again.
Don't be jealous of my job, people:)
